This year's camp will be held on the "Field Turf" field located at Pulis Ave in Franklin Lakes. This all weather surface provides an ideal playing condition for the week. Access to the onsite restrooms is available. Camp will begin promptly at 9am and end promptly at 1pm and on Friday we will end at 12:00.
Our counselors are current high school and college student athletes who will provide skills, individual attention and instruction due to our high staff to camper ratio.
An athletic trainer / nurse will be on site assisting any athletes with injuries or health issues.
Each camper must bring her own snack / lunch to camp. Campers will be able to purchase cold drinks and snacks.
Campers will receive a t-shirt on the first day. Campers should wear a pair of cleats, soccer socks, and shin guards. We please ask campers also bring a pair of sneakers and a soccer ball.
Water will be provided along with ample breaks. We recommend bringing a jug to fill.
Maddie Gibbs is no stranger to a soccer field. As a Ramapo High School and Wyckoff native, Maddie has stepped foot on just about every soccer field in the state of New Jersey. Starting her career young playing for Torpedoes and Word Class Premier before entering the Ramapo arena. At Ramapo, she played under Coach Heenehan for four years. culminating her Ramapo career as Varsity captain in 2011.
Maddie's passion for soccer and sports led her to Coastal Carolina University where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Recreation and Sports Management. She furthered her education at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she obtained a Masters degree in Sports Administration.
Maddie now works as an elementary school teacher in Bergen County, but her passion for soccer remains. In fact, it led her back to Ramapo field where she has been the Girls Head Soccer coach for the past three seasons.
Maddie is a big believer in creating a community among her players that far surpasses the lines of the field--a lesson she learned from her late father-in-law, Drew Gibbs. It is in that spirit she has created Gibbs Goals, a place where a community can come together, #AsOne.
Develop and foster a strong sense of accountability and sportsmanship with Gibbs Goals soccer camp.
Through emphasis on teamwork, discipline and respect, players will learn valuable life skills on and off the field!
